Private Pay Therapy - The Investment in Privacy

YOUR PRIVACY IS

THE ULTIMATE LUXURY.

Fees, Insurance & Investment.
Why I chose to leave the insurance system
to protect your permanent record.

The "In-Network" Cost

When you use insurance, I am required to give you a permanent psychiatric diagnosis (like "Major Depressive Disorder") that stays on your medical record forever. Insurance companies can audit my notes, dictate how many sessions you get, and demand to know "why you aren't fixed yet."

AVOID THE AUDIT

The Private Advantage

By paying privately, our work stays completely between us. No diagnosis codes, no audits, and no limits on session frequency. We work at your pace, on your issues, without a corporation in the room with us.

"What is the investment?"

Individual Telehealth: $200 per 50-minute session.
Walking Therapy (NYC): $275 per 60-minute session.

This reflects the specialized nature of my work. You aren't paying for a "vent session"; you are paying for strategic, high-impact clinical intervention.

02

"Can I get reimbursed?"

Yes. Most of my clients use Out-of-Network (OON) benefits. Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed for 50–80% of the session fee. I provide a monthly "Superbill" that you can upload to your insurance portal in seconds.

03

"How do I check my benefits?"

Call the number on the back of your card and ask: "Do I have Out-of-Network benefits for mental health (Code 90834)? What is my deductible, and what percentage do you reimburse?" This 5-minute call usually clarifies the actual cost immediately.
